In 2022, our client was awarded planning permission to extend the building vertically by 4 floors across the full existing footprint. This would add a further 150 units and bring the building in-line with other buildings in the vicinity.

DCC’s scope here covers Stage 2 through to Stage 6 and is our biggest project to date.

In June 2024, we completed Stage 2 concept design alongside a full set of validations and subsequent report detailing existing MEP equipment and condition for reuse.

Stage 2 options were then presented to our client along with a cost analysis to help the decision making process.

We then took the validation results and report to help determine what can be adapted and reused from the existing plant equipment.

In January 2025 we completed the TM59 analysis as well as extensive thermal modelling on the proposed new layouts.

Following detailed planning approval we will continue to develop and coordinate with the wider design team.
