Following on-going problems with the existing heating, cooling and ventilation system the decision was made to remove the equipment and replace with new. This followed extensive feasibility studies and validations by JDP where a replacement VAV system was proposed.

We were approached to put forward a VRV system coupled with central Air Handling Units for each unit in order to simplify the system, allow more flexibility for future Cat-B tenants and reduce overall project cost.

This project wasn’t without its surprises during the design phase due to unexpected eventualities mainly relating to tenant alterations that had been carried out without the Building Manager’s consent. We were required to be fluid during the design stage and our can-do attitude shone through.

Handover was successfully achieved by our client in September 2024 and the building is now ready for existing tenants to move back in or letting for the empty spaces.
